Project: One-off rugs for showroom

Together with rohi, Vitra developed its first mono-material made of 100% wool. The resulting CENTO collection is sustainable, recyclable and has been awarded the EU Ecolabel. In the spirit of sustainability, the selvages from the production of CENTO have also been recycled and processed into one-off, unique rugs for the VitraHaus.

Three unique rugs have been created for the display area of the new Anagram sofa, launched with the new 100% wool fabric CENTO. Inspired by a Mark Rothko painting, the rugs are mainly Bordeaux, complementing the sofa, and accented with contrasting colours.
