Project: Wool felt cladding for wardrobe

A new approach to rugs: For a special 13RUGS project in an alpine living space in Kitzbühel, we had the opportunity to realize an extraordinary idea in collaboration with the carpentry EHAM. While we are accustomed to crafting rugs for floors and walls, this time we had the chance to create a unique 13RUGS piece that covers a wardrobe.

Precision meets craftsmanship: While every project presents its own set of delightful challenges, this one demanded unparalleled precision. To achieve seamless transitions between the individual parts, particularly along the edges, attention to detail and a keen eye for alignment were required in every step. The final result is a beautiful wardrobe with an inimitable character and a very special look.

Harmony of nature and style: The consistent commitment to regional and natural materials makes the entire house a breathable and healthy living environment. The texture of the wool felt, combined with its subtle interplay of colours, brings warmth and sophistication to the entrance area while also enhancing the room's acoustics. More than just a functional element, this wardrobe embodies the seamless fusion of artistry and functionality, representing the transformative power of craftsmanship.
